At the age of 23, the founder of Niten Memorial School left their home in Switzerland and journeyed to Nepal, where they encountered a group of street children in Kathmandu. Moved by their plight, the founder was able to establish a shelter on September 1, 1993, with the support of family and friends. This became the foundation of Nawa Asha Griha (NAG), “Home of New Hopes.” Since then, Nepal has been their home, where they witness the transformation of these children into independent, strong, and compassionate adults, fueling their hope for a brighter future for Nepal.
